Sick Sick Sick Apple Daily (Next Media Group) - UPDATED

Today, Apple Daily is carrying a huge picture of the bus crash in Kaohsiung in which you can clearly see dead bodies.  Below is my letter to them.  If you wish to complain, you can copy my letter and change the name and post it at: Apple Daily Complaints Page

Dear Next Media / Apple Daily,

I know that your newspaper in Taiwan is a 'Tabloid'.  I know that you seek sensational news stories and pictures  because it helps you make more money.

However, today's newspaper (11-10-09) is unacceptable.  You show DEAD bodies in the bus crash in Kaohsiung.  What if one of those dead bodies was one of your relatives? 

You have shown once again that you have no respect for the people of Taiwan or their values.

Your publication is an amoral disgrace.  I will be asking all my Taiwanese friends to boycott your 'blood rag'.

Hope you go out of business soon,

我知道貴報在台灣是個 'Tabloid'（強調圖片的通俗報紙）.我知道你們尋求轟動的新聞故事與照片以賺取更多的錢.

然而，今日的報紙（2009年10月11日）實在是令人無法接受.你們展示了在高雄公車事故中的遺體.若其中一個遺體是屬於你們親屬的呢？

你們又再次的表現出你們如何不尊重台灣人民及他們的價值.

貴報的出版是種不道德的恥辱. 我將要求我所有的台灣朋友抵制你們這"血淋淋的小報"
