As a consolation I guess,
Robert Bentley "said a prayer" for murderer William Glenn Boyd shortly before he was executed @ 6 pm last Thursday. Maybe Mr Boyd deserved to be executed and maybe he didn't, but I think saying you prayed for someone you could have saved just doesn't make sense:
Bentley said he reviewed Boyd's appeals over the past 25 years. It was a tough decision for a Baptist deacon and physician.
The governor said he "said a prayer" for Boyd shortly before the clock reached 6 p.m. Thursday. That's the time of the execution at Holman Prison in Atmore.
