Many will say that it is completely fruitful to have a VP debate in order to display the strengths and weaknesses of each member of their respective ticket. I, on the other hand, don't really think it tells us much.
I would rather see the two presidential candidates duel one extra time. To be honest, a VP debate seems more like a publicity stunt than anything else.
Furthermore, no one ever knows who wins. I've heard more positive talk about Sarah Palin's performance as opposed to Joe Biden's, but really, how do you measure this? Because of her sass? Or wit?
The VP candidates should be nothing more than another person to display his or her candidates stances. That's it.
