Facebook Bashing

How far should people be allowed to go on negative comments posted on things like facebook and myspace? People seemed to have crossed the thin line between right and wrong with their comments. They flat out went too far.

Politics can be such an ugly subject especially when it comes to people who are extremely republican or democratic. I knew people were going to be mean with this election. It's an election that is really controversial. There has been tension between the parties during pretty much the whole presidential campaigning. When McCain and Obama came to the debate here, the tension between them were very apparent, but they haven't been flat out bashing one another like people have done on facebook.

I think I have heard it all now. Some just put their statuses as how they were going to move to Australia or some other country. Others were not so nice and put racial slurs trying their hardest to bash Obama in the worst ways possible. Then comes the crazy remarks about how Obama is the anti christ. How do people come up with these things?

Hopefully within the next few days we will see things start to settle back down.
