looks a little better for most consumers (that is unless you live in the country like me), but upon further examination by experts the mileage may not be quite so good:The VoltWell, 65 miles is quite different from 100. How do they reconcile that?has an additional gasoline engine that acts as a backup engine. The Nissan Leaf on the other hand is fully electric.
Experts have been considering the ranges of the Leaf to determine how far it can go on a charge.
It has been determined the Nissan vehicle can travel up to a distance of about 100 miles on one charge.
One drawback noted by testers is that the car has a problem pertaining to cold weather.
Cold weather may reduce the range of the Leaf to about 65 miles, according to Consumer Reports.
