Florida Gov. Charlie Crist is betting the orange groves that top-ranked Florida will beat second-ranked Alabama in the Southeastern Conference championship game.Crist is wagering Florida's famous fruit against a rack of barbecue ribs that Alabama Gov. Bob Riley is putting up on the Crimson Tide prevailing in Saturday's contest in Atlanta.
The winner will advance to the national championship game next month at the Rose Bowl.
I feel sorry for Bob Riley, he loses either way. Oranges???
