US Democrats cave in on healthcare Public Option

There is likely to be no public option after all - which after more troops for Afghanistan is starting to make Obama look like the Yes We Could Have But We Didn't Because It Was Practical President. Instead we get another two private options 'under supervision' and thus the insurance lobbyists and privateers win again:
