ADC Endorses Ron Sparks

The Alabama Democratic Conference has followed suit with most other traditionally black organizations and endorsed Ron Sparks rather than Artur Davis. If one watched the previous video, Davis addresses this issue, but it does still carry some weight. I do however believe that most African-Americans will still support Davis. Anyway, this has been an interesting fight:

The endorsement Saturday in Montgomery means Sparks has swept all four major black political groups.

Sparks said the ADC endorsement wasn't handed to him when Davis decided not to seek it. Sparks said he had a long record of working with the ADC.

Davis issued a statement saying the days of a few powerbrokers speaking for Alabama Democrats is over.
