Boycott of EVA Air

Last year I boycotted Far East Tone mobile phone company because they wanted to allow what would effectively have been a takeover by China Telecom through that company's acquisition of FET shares. So I dumped FET and signed to Taiwan Mobile.

This time it is the turn of EVA Air. The reason? Offering to transport the annexation pandas Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, with fanfare and publicity from China to Taiwan.

Even though I have accumulated 22,036 air miles with the company, I just felt that I couldn't tolerate such a sycophantic corporation any longer, especially after they teamed up with KMT Taipei City Mayor Hau to promote the Flora Expo. Thus, I took the following step:
