Photograph: Rick Rycroft/AP)Note: I don't normally promote or support any religion or religious leaders preferring instead to regard them all equally as charlatans but I make exception with the Dalai Lama, not because I prefer his religion but because of his work to bring freedom to the Tibetan people who have suffered under over 50 years of brutal and genocidal Chinese PRC occupation. When Tibet, East Turkestan and Taiwan are safe from Chinese threat or control I will cease seeing China as a threat to regional and world peace (not that there's been much of that!).
