AEA has already started its GOTV effort in an attempt to influence the outcome of the GOP run-off for Governor between Bradley Byrne and Dr. Robert Bentley.
In the past week phone calls have been placed to AEA members to ask and encourage them to vote in the GOP run-off for Governor next month. In addition to that the call recipients are also asked if they need an absentee ballot for that election if they cannot be there.
The obvious reason for this is to influence the outcome of the run-off in anyway that retards AEA's chief rival Bradley Byrne's race for the Governor's mansion. The two principals have had a continued tit-for-tat since Byrne's first ad attacked AEA and Paul Hubbert.
