Amazing Animals

We humans aint all that really ....


The barreleye fish, already known as a species but filmed in the deep for the first time by the Monterey Bay aquarium research institute. The green orbs are its eyes, directed upwards to detect its prey in silhouette through its transparent head. Photo from BBC featured on The Guardian.

These newly released pictures of Alpine ibex goats scaling the 160ft face of the Cingino Dam in northern Italy are fascinating, but not unusual. It's a classic illustration of how well this species has adapted to its environment. From The Guardian.
