The McCain Speech

I think the McCain speech was the best speech he has delivered during this entire campaign.  He was classy, stopped the booing that the crowds delivered with the mention of Obama, and gave his support and more than support, genuine support to Obama.  Though McCain was clearly not happy to be giving this speech, you could see the ease that he had when giving this speech.  He finally did not look stressed out, and finally looked like he was being himself.  I am happy for McCain and the fight that he fought  In my honest opinion, this is not a good year to be a Republican due to the situation we are in under the Bush administration.  Whether you agree with Bush or not, it is evident that the nation was ready for a change, and whether or not McCain would have followed the same path that Bush did, Obama did a great job making it appear as if McCain was another Bush.  Though I don't think it was, it is a smart, extremely strategic political move.  I am anxious to see Obama get to work!
