The excitement of being a first-time voter compelled my friend and I to document the momentous occasion. I took photographs of poll workers, voters and party volunteers, because I never want to forget this day. A black man on one ticket and a white woman on the other--it truly is springtime in America. Our nation has come so far, and I am part of the political process that has allowed that growth to take place. I have cast my ballot and made my voice heard. Let's celebrate!
