Of Course the Media is Bias

Objectivity is definitely not easy, especially when you're in the business of Journalism;  however, the most blatant double standard has been shown for the 2008 election.  I nearly rolled on the floor laughing while reading an article on drudgereport.com concerning media bias.  Has the media been bias about the presidential election?  The answer is just as obvious as the necessity for an umbrella when it's pouring down rain outside.  The golden boy of the media is clearly Barack Obama.  Since he was selected as one of the Democratic nominees for President, the majority of the mass media has lifted him up on their pedestal as the prime choice for leader of the free world.  Hillary Clinton suffered her demise because of it, and John McCain may very well be the next one on the chopping block. 

 Media bashing could be the most modern tool a candidate can use to win an election.  Print, broadcast, and radio are all to blame. MSNBC actually fired some of their staff for their liberal bias shown while they reported live at the Republican National Convention.  The New York Times even fabricated several stories about McCain having a child from another marriage.  All the while, Obama has a very shaky political foundation with his two years in Senate topping his amount of experience.  Not to mention he has a relative who's an illegal alien.  It's frightening how little negative attention he receives from the media.  It literally makes me want scream "where has all the credibility gone?!" 

Need I say more, than to look at the Sarah Palin interviews in which she is thrown to the liberal wolves.  Let's face it, it's inevitable that the media will be criticized, but the beating heart of all mass media is that it remain completely unbiased and estranged from personal opinions.
