It's so hard to believe that the election is over. It seems as though it came too quickly. The debate wasn't really that long ago was it? Its amazing how fast five and a half weeks can pass. I came into this course not knowing nearly as much about this election as I should, and it really caught me up. I read actual news magazines more often than I ever have before, and have even caught myself having intelligent conversations about politics with my friends and family.
I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. Working with Gloria Kellum and the Newseum and being as close as I was to a huge, historic event for Oxford and Ole Miss will be a memory I always cherish. I hope everyone else enjoyed the experience as much as I did.
As for the random picture, it was on the front page of the Swedish national newspaper online this morning. In English. I thought it was really cool...
