Lawyers already trying their best

I said in my last blog entry that it would happen! Before the polls evened opened this morning attorneys in Virgina filed suit to have absentee ballots from soldiers overseas counted even though they did not get processed by the deadline. I relate to this story because I just produced a news story and interview with a soldier about this very same subject, today! He said in his interview that the ballots need to be "in-country", meaning Iraq or Afghanistan, by no later than September first if they were to make it back to the United States in time for their vote to count. The soldiers get mail once a week at best. I think the lawyers are actually doing a commendable thing for once. The people fighting for the right to have this election should have their vote counted first and loudest!!!
