McCain denounces Bush

Senator McCain continues to distance himself from the Bush administration. He denounces the book tax cuts commenting that they are giveaways for the rich. According to the article in the Washington Post said,"the senator from Arizona is again criticizing Bush and his financial policies, as he renews his efforts to demonstrate that he would represent a departure from the current administration." Will this tactic help the senator in the polls. With only two weeks until the election the gap between Senator McCain and Senator Obama seems to become greater with each day. It seems that the GOP has disheartened the American people with their economic plans and Obama has been perceived to be more equipped to handle the financial crisis that we are facing. A former media advisor the Bush administration stated that the American people know long ago that McCain was not like President Bush, but his downfall is that he is a Republican and "in the current enivironment" that creates a 10-point "anchor" creating that gap that is in place.
