The vice-presidential debate definitely left everyone very impressed with Sarah Palin. After recent interviews Palin has been the media’s punching bag for not being able to answer specific questions or answering questions too vaguely . One of the biggest errors Palin made was while being interviewed by Katie Couric of CBS she failed to name any specific newspapers or magazines she reads regularly, she responded to the question “whatever is in front of me.”Despite all of the critiques the media are always willing to name and emphasize, I have to say Palin did a wonderful job during the debate and definitely held her own. I believe she used a good ice breaker by starting out with “Can I call you Joe?” Throughout the debate she spoke to the American people and sympathized with the working class, by stating that her family has been the working class and she knows what It’s like. All in all, Palin surpassed set expectations and may have more people tuning into the next vice presidential debate just to see what she’s going to say.
I’m anxious to see what Tina Fey will have in store this weekend on SNL.
